Dilution refrigerator with computer controlled gas handling system, bottom loading option and 14T magnet. 

Dilution unit

• Base temperature <10 mK with all factory-installed wiring.
• Cooling power at 100 mK: 500 μW.
• Cooling power on the experimental flange at 20 mK: 16 μW.
• Cooling power of pulse tube (PT) at 4.2 K: 1.8 W.
• Linear motor driver for pulse tube step motor (for noise and vibration reduction).
• Temperature sensors at all stages of dilution refrigerator.
• Active vibration damping system for cryostat operating in the frequency range 1– 200 Hz.
• Automated (computer controlled) cool down and warm up procedure with possibility to switch system to manual control without computer.

Magnet

• Integrated cryogen-free superconducting magnet with magnetic field of 14 T.
• Persistent mode switch for running magnet in persistent mode.

Wiring

• 24 twisted pairs from room temperature to mixing chamber (for connecting to bottom loading package).
• 12 twisted pairs from room temperature to 4 K flange.
• 12 thermocoax lines from room temperature to mixing chamber.
• Line-of-sight ports for experimental wiring with capability to install up to 32 coaxial SMA 18 GHz lines.
• High current leads (copper/HTS) with current up to 10 A for additional superconducting magnet.

 Bottom loading option for fast sample package exchange

• Automated insertion/extraction of the probe insert inside the bottom loader.
• Bottom-loading sample package has connectors for 48 DC lines and 8 RF lines (up to 18 GHz) with corresponding connectors mounted at mixing chamber.
• Temperature sensor at sample holder.
