Monowave 300 is a monomode microwave reactor under small-scale sealed vessel conditions. It is especially dedicated to
microwave assisted organic synthesis (MAOS).
Monowave 300 accomodates 4 different reaction vials and volumes between 0.5 mL and 20 mL.
The operation limits are 300 °C and 30 bar. Pressure control is provided by a non-invasive hydraulic piston embedded in the swiveling cover. For cooling, the cavity is flushed with compressed air automatically after the programmed experiment has been processed.
In addition to the IR sensor, the Ruby Thermometer can be used for accurate temperature monitoring. It is a fiber optic probe sensor for internal temperature control based on the temperature-dependent luminescence of a ruby crystal.
