Dear Users,

Please use the system during the day (8:00 - 17:00) for short-term measurements (2-4 hours) and at night for long term measurements (>4 hours).

A maximum booking time of 24 hours is possible. Do not overshoot this time. Between your bookings, a gap of in total 3 units (unit = day or night shift) has to be kept for other users.

The system is only allowed to be booked one month in advance.

In case the system is not booked for the day or night slot of the current day till 08:00 or 13:00, respectively, please do not hesitate to book it. In that case the gap-rule is not valid.

Besides, be aware of the Aalto University work rules for weekends and nights (lab buddy; excel).

Do not touch (e.g. remove crucibles, change gases) the STA or the MS device during the booking time of another user without permission (e.g. note, message, email).

Do not use the device without reservation.

Only touch the device during your own slots.

In case the device is used without permission or reservation the user is suspended for a period of 2 weeks.

In case of any incidents (e.g. the system is not ready for the next user), inform the next user by email in time.

Keep your bookings updated and let's follow the principle of fair play.
