A mixture of known composition is pumped through the equilibrium cell.
The pressure and temperature are kept constant.
The composition is changed in order to zero in on the bubble point composition.
In these experiments the system is either in the one liquid phase region or in the two phase (gas–liquid) region.
The hydrogen solubility is calculated as an average of the last observed point of the liquid region and the first
observed point of the two-phase region.
