The chemicals are transferred to the cell, mixed and equilibrated. The temperature is controlled. For polymer systems cloud point measurements, the pressure of the system is controlled using the hydraulic piston. Phase behavior is detected visually. Pressure and temperature of the cell are measured. The density can be detected using a camera after suitable calibrations.
