An ultrahigh definition (UHD) camera captures grayscale images from which the analyzer determines various fiber properties by means of image analysis.

Fiber length is measured along the fiber centerline (curl, kinked fibers). The projection fiber length is also measured (curl calculation).

Samples for analysis:

• Chemical or mechanical pulp
• Stock and white waters of paper, board and tissue machines
• Microfibers

Fiber length range: 0,1 - 7,2 mm.
