Waters/Wyatt Multi-detector AF4/SEC (“Wahlund”) is a combined asymmetric flow field-flow fractionation (AF4) and size-exclusion chromatography instrument equipped with UV, light-scattering (both static and dynamic), viscometry, and refractive index detectors. Contains an option to conduct batch light scattering experiments.

Several column sets are available for both aqueous and organic applications. AF4 channels can be used with aqueous buffers and with common organic solvents such as methanol and tetrahydrofuran. For AF4 channel, standard regenerated cellulose membranes are available. Possibility to collect fractions with the fraction collector.   

AF4 Eclipse™ with Dilution Control Module (DCM)

• Eclipse™ Field-Flow Fractionation (FFF) instrument for the separation of macromolecules and nano particles by size, ranging from 1 to 1000 nm.
• Dilution Control Module (DCM) increases concentration of sample eluting from channel up to 10x over standard FFF.
• Compatible with most aqueous buffers and many common organic solvents like THF and toluene.
