Waters/Wyatt Multi-detector SEC (“Walther”) is a size-exclusion chromatography instrument equipped with UV, light-scattering, fluorescence, and refractive index detectors. Both MALS and refractive index detectors contain an NIR light source (785 nm).

Several column sets are available for both aqueous and organic applications.

ARC HPLC instrument

Quaternary Solvent Manager-R:

• Operating flow rate range of 0.001-5 mL/min, in 0.001 mL increments, and pressures up to 650 bar
• pH range 1 to 12.5
• Blend up to four solvents in any combination with integrated vacuum degassing, four chambers

Sample Manager FTN-R:

• Injection volume range: 0.1 to 50.0 µL as standard
• Sample capacity: 96 (2 mL vial holders)
• Sample compartment temperature: 4.0–40.0 °C, settable in 0.1 °C increments

Column oven (Shimadzu CTO-40C):

• Temperature control range is from (ambient - 10)°C to 100°C
• Temperature setting range is from 4°C to 100°C in 1°C steps.

• 18-angle static light scattering detector
• Molar mass range: 200 Da to 1 GDa
• Molecular size range Rg:  ≈ 10 up to 1000 nm
• Embedded ultrasonic flow cell cleaning (COMET™)
• Laser wavelength 785 nm

2489 UV/Visible Detector:

• 190-700 nm Range
• 10 mm analytical TaperSlit flow cell (16.3 µL)

2475 Fluorescence detector:

• 200-900 nm range
• 13µL flow cell

Optilab RI detector:

• Measures differential and absolute Refractive Index (dRI and aRI)
• dRI Range: -0.0026 to +0.034 RIU
• Temperature control:  4 °C to 65 °C (± 0.005 °C)
• Light source: 785 nm
